is that Helen Clark is going to declare the election date today. I'm not sure about the reliability of my source so take that under advisement. Nothing on the 2pm news and nothing on any of the expected websites...
Update: Getting goss from other sources which backs an announcement today.
Update the second: So that was obviously wrong goss, but it's definitely being announced on Monday. My mum heard it on the radio so it must be true - so much for being in the know! ;-)

hmm maybe i typed too soon, there's been nothing about even a press conference on the radio. sorry to get everyone's hopes up.
Hiss boo! I was getting all excited already and was about to make a crack about expecting National's tax policy tomorrow, but no! :-)
From what I hear, it will either be announced on Monday at post-Cabinet press conference or Tuesday at post-Caucus press conference.
And I also hear that there will be 'big news' on Wednesday.
yep that's in line with what me mum heard - she heard Monday, which i interpreted as the post-Cabinet press conference. thanks for the goss :-)
i hope the big news is bigger than the tax cut news was
