A Little Less Conversation?

What message were the National Party leadership trying to send on the weekend by using the Elvis song A Little Less Conversation (remixed for the yoof vote of course) as backing music?

It's a song about wanting more sex in a relationship.

Who exactly needs to give National "a little more action"? It's members? It's MPs? Or just the voters?

(More regular bloggage will return soon, very busy week at work.)

Don't you think it's a totally appropriate song? Don't listening to the likes of Don, Gerry and Murray make you horny??

There's no accounting for taste :)

Oh, how very appropriate 8) I'm surprised they're willing to admit so openly that what they want is to screw the people of NZ.

The Junkie XL remix by any chance? Not a very good role model - or did the ad agency not tell them what JXL is short for?

Hah hah - also the ad agency seemed to neglect to mention that the song is several years old (the remix) so possibly not as hip and with it as they were after...

As much as I hate to defend the Nats, it is only slightly less cheesy than new Labour's 1997 theme tune "Things Can Only Get Better".

And I can't think of a better slogan for an opposition: less talk, more action.

Apparently their "Blue Libs" get together last night was a bit of a farce. Perhaps they should understand that no matter how you dress it, politics is only sexy to a small bunch of weirdos (like us)!

it's okay. they'll tire themselves out soon, and then we can all get some peace.
