you're a wizard, harry

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire started today. I'm hanging out to see it on Monday, but there's a whole lot of week yet to go. Keeping my eyes on the prize though - this week has been the hardest I've worked since AUSA days.

Mr Stupid could well be in attendance on Monday night, so I recommend that anyone who hasn't checked out his blog (Stupid Internet Name) yet do so, so that I can nag him about his hits. After all it only took me approx a year to strongarm him into getting a blog.

It's available on the internet now. Not that I'm suggesting anyone illegally downloads it because that would be bad and wrong.

It's even got one swear word and a creepy looking new Doctor Who.

Does somebody kiss in it? I've been wondering why it's not on in Kuwait yet, and I seem to remember from the book that Hermione kisses Viktor Krum. In which case it won't be cleared by the censors until that filthy smut has been cut out of it (axe murders and general dismemberment are permitted in movies, but public displays of affection are verboten - go figure).

I saw it Saturday and proffer the following as someone who has not seen the preceding Potter movies, nor read the books:

This new "darker" instalment, detailing Harry's entry into adolescence, appears to open with him waking up from a nocturnal emission.

I saw it yesterday. Not a bad copy, a few skips in places.

Movie was ok I actually think that PoA was better.

Those kids are getting huge.

thank you for that lovely ahem image Ben. i was going to comment that that told us more about you than about the film, but then i saw it last night and it seemed to me that you may in fact be correct...
