At the end of the day

While I can't compete with satsumasalad on the beautiful sunset pics, here's the view from my place earlier this evening.

Hopefully as long as this good weather keeps going so will the fab sunsets.

Is it just me or is it a lot warmer (and drier) this autumn and winter?

Nope, not just you grrrrl. I've been working here in shorts and tank top all day. It's the wee hours of the morning now and still not cool enough for me to want to put a jersey on :o

Down this way where I live it actually feels wetter (and damper) for this time of year than usual. My dehumidifier has been wringing it's guts out so much this last month it broke down ((((sob)))) and had to go to the appliance doctor today :(

No, not just you. It's warmer and drier in Wgtn as well, at least, it feels like it to me. Haven't worn a coat yet, and am still in bare legs.

Sunsets are irresistible aren't they. Especially gorgeous NZ sunsets.

There have been lots of beautiful sunsets this autumn - I wasn't here last autumn, I was travelling, but I don't remember it being like this in 2005!

I'm a real sook about the cold, and I'm still getting by quite comfortably under the summer weight duvet and an extra blanket. I haven't turned on the fire or the heater yet; I'd set myself a target of holding out until May, but now I'm over a week in and haven't felt particularly tempted.
